Song Map

Take a second and look at your brain storming list. Did you see any patterns? Was there a main idea that was talked about in different ways? These are questions that you'll need to ask yourself as we move into the next section.

On the same sheet of paper or computer document, write the following 

Point of the Song: What is the main idea or theme of the song?

• Message by section- Write the main message of each section in one sentence as a guide for supporting information to the main idea.

Here is an example you can use to organize your thoughts: 

• Verse 1: What is the story about?
• Verse 2: What else happened / why it matters?
• Chorus: What does it all mean?
